Since 2000, Northgate has owned and operated the Kemess South mine, producing over 2.5 million ounces of gold and 620 million pounds of copper, and continues to provide strong free cash flow in the current metal price environment.

Location
Kemess South is located in north-central
British Columbia, 430 kilometres northwest of
Prince George. 

The Kemess South complex consists of an open-pit
mine, a 52,000 tonnes per day mill and various ancillary
support facilities, including maintenance shops and
housing for Kemess' 400 full-time employees.
